Overview

Experiential Learning Cloud includes many reports for pulling form, time track, and placement data. In addition to these reports, you can export the contents of any table directly to an Excel spreadsheet.

This is often the fastest way to retrieve exactly the data you need.

 

How to Export a Table

1. Navigate to the table you want to export.

2. Click the Download icon in the upper-right corner of the table.

3. The table data will download as an Excel file.

Use Filters Before Exporting

Before exporting, apply filters to limit the results to only the records you need.

Example: In the Staff & Students table, you can filter by class to export only users associated with that class.

Filtering first ensures your export is clean and targeted.

Choose Which Columns Appear in Your Export

The columns visible in the table are the columns that will appear in your Excel file.

1. Click the Gear icon to open Table Settings.

2. Select which columns you want displayed.

3. Arrange the columns in your preferred order.

4. Close the settings and export.

This allows you to control exactly what data appears in your spreadsheet.

Example: In the Sites table, you might display only:

• Site Name

• Address Line 1

• City

• State

• Zip Code

• Website

• Phone Number

Common Tables to Export

Staff & Students Table
Export names, email addresses, programs, roles, site affiliations, and personal details.

Sites Table
Export site name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and website.

Placement Information Table
Export student placement details including placement dates, assigned site, and supervisor.

Tip

Always set your filters and displayed columns before exporting to avoid unnecessary cleanup in Excel.
