How to Edit Displayed Columns

Your displayed columns are the fields that appear on the top of any table in Experiential Learning Cloud. You can edit the displayed fields for any table that has the gears icon available.

Click on the gears icon in the top right-hand corner to bring you to the table settings.
You can change the number of records that appear per page. The default is 20.
Drag information from available columns to displayed columns, and vice versa. Drag the order of the displayed column fields up and down to set the order of the display (top field will be on the far left).
When finished, click Save this Column Order.

Admin users have the option to set the default table setting for the entire database OR update the setting for all current users, using the checkboxes above the save button.

How to Edit Sorted Fields

Sorted fields are fields that you can sort either ascending or descending, alphabetically or numerically, by clicking on the field name. When you click on the field, a little carrot arrow will point up or down letting you know if they are being sorted either ascending or descending. You can sort these by clicking on the headers in the table, or by adjusting your sort settings. To adjust the sort settings:

Within your table settings, click the Sort tab that is to the right of the Columns tab.
Drag information from sorted columns to non-sorted columns, and vice versa. Check the desc. box if you’d like the default to be sorted descending.
The order of the columns determines which sort field will have priority.
When finished, click Save this Sort.
