DecisionTools Suite Compatibility

Version: 8.6.1 or later – supports Microsoft Office 365 on Windows 11+. Microsoft Office 2013 onward may continue to function, but as they are not supported by Microsoft we do not guarantee compatibility.

• Unsupported platforms: Some functions may fail silently; troubleshooting is not provided.

• Office requirement: Windows MS Excel required; Mac users see @RISK on the Mac

Notes:

• The DecisionTools Suite installer works with both 32-bit Excel and 64-bit Excel. Excel is required; Project is optional.
• See also: Recommended Option Settings for Excel.

Notes:

• ARM Processors Compatibility with @RISK/DTS: ARM is not recommended. ARM uses less power to operate, it is usually good for devices with limited hardware resources (such as cell phones and tablets), and DecisionTools Suite tools perform better with higher hardware resources.
• Windows Server versions are not listed in the chart, because we have not done extended Quality Assurance of our end-user software with any Windows Server version. However, we are not aware of any incompatibilities between our end-user software and any Windows Server OS supported by Microsoft.
