Sonia Notifications

Activate Notifications to notify students, sites, supervisors, and placement officers of deadlines or actions that have happened or need to happen.

Activating Notifications

1. Go to School Options > Notifications
2. Click the tab at the top that reflects the audience of the notification
3. Tick the box at the left to activate the notification
4. Read the line all the way across to ensure an understanding of the purpose of the notification and to set parameters or include form links as appropriate
5. Click the pencil icon at the far right to define these items:
   1. FROM address
   2. Subject line (Pro Tip: Be generic with notifications regarding forms and checks, as any form and check notification will be live for ALL forms or checks. For example, for the Form Section to Complete notification, the Subject line might be "Placement Form to Complete/Review")
   3. Body - not much is needed here; perhaps a name variation and [NotificationText]. The [NotificationText] placeholder is necessary, as it is the "meat" of the message you are trying to convey. It is hard-coded and cannot be modified.
