Upload any file to a communication—click Upload, choose the file, confirm attachment; remove by hovering the thumbnail, click trash, and confirm. Large files use more storage.

Overview

If you have a file outside of the database that you'd like to send to another user, you can upload an attachment to your communication.

All document types are permissible, but please keep in mind that larger files (such as video) will take up considerable storage space in your database.

Upload a Document

Click Upload.
- A search window for your computer will open.
Click once to highlight the document you want to upload.
Click Open.
- The document name and thumbnail will appear attached to your communication.
- A paperclip icon will appear if the comment is collapsed.

Remove an Uploaded Document

Hover over the thumbnail of the uploaded document.
- A black trash can icon will appear in the upper right corner of the thumbnail.
Click the trash icon.
- A warning will appear asking if you are sure you want to remove the document.
Click Yes.
