Students have the ability to transition themselves to alumni by Setting Their Alumni Status. However, you may have students who have not entered their graduation date to transition themselves and want to make sure all users are appropriately associated for accurate record keeping. Learn how to utilize the Mass Updates workspace to easily convert students to alumni en masse.

Step 1: End existing program association

3. Filter by a program, sub-program, group, or even graduation date.
4. Select all students who are transitioning to alumni.
5. Select “Edit # Program Associations” at the bottom of the table.
6. Apply an end date to the existing association between the students and their program.

1. Next, with the same students selected, click “Add # Program Associations” at the bottom of the table.
2. Add all selected students to the appropriate alumni program, and apply a start date to their association with the alumni program.

Step 3: End existing student role
