XLSTAT: How to activate your license

When you purchase your XLSTAT license, you receive a license key and a link to attach your license to your MyLumivero account. This process generally takes less than 5 minutes if you've purchased online. This may be slightly longer if you purchased a student or academic license and we need to verify your status. The software should be downloaded and installed (on Windows or on Mac) prior to the activation process.

Steps for Activation

To activate your license, you need to access the following Welcome Windows:

If this is your first time launching XLSTAT (Trial Version), the Welcome window will appear automatically.

If you’ve already launched XLSTAT in the past (Free version), you can access the Welcome window in one of two ways:

• Click the main XLSTAT button on the left, then select Sign in.

• Or, click About XLSTAT and Activate:

• The Welcome Windows appears.

• From this window, you have 2 ways to activate your license - with or without a MyLumivero account.

Activate with a MyLumivero account

Prerequisite: A MyLumivero account where the corresponding license is attached.

• Go to the Welcome Window and Click on Sign in or create an account.

• Log in to your MyLumivero account.

• Once you are logged in, the license assigned to your account will automatically be activated. You will be informed of the successful activation of XLSTAT.

• Once activated, the XLSTAT ribbon should look like this (depending on your solution):

Activate without a MyLumivero account

Alternatively to using your MyLumivero account, you can activate your license key with the special activation mode as follows.

This activation procedure is presented in this video tutorial:

• Go to the Welcome Window and Click on Use special activation mode.

• The activation window will pop up.

A username is provided by default in the Advanced settings. It corresponds to your user session name. It can be modified if preferred.

• Copy-paste your license key.

• Ensure that the Standard activation mode is selected.

• Click on the Activate button. XLSTAT will then connect to our server. If you are online and if your activation key is correct, you should be informed of the successful activation of XLSTAT.

• Once activated, the XLSTAT ribbon should look like this (depending on your solution):
