XLSTAT: How to Install on Mac

To use XLSTAT on your Mac, you need to download and install the software on your computer. This guide shows you step by step how to do it.

Before you start

Make sure you have the following before installing XLSTAT:

• Microsoft Excel 2016 or a newer version
• macOS Sonoma (14) or a newer version
• An updated version of Microsoft Office for Mac
• Access to your Mac's administrator password

Do you already have a previous version of XLSTAT installed?
If you have a previous version of XLSTAT on your Mac, uninstall it using its uninstaller before continuing with this guide.

Install XLSTAT

1. Download the DMG file from the Free Trial page.

2. Double-click the downloaded DMG file.

3. Read and accept the software license agreements.

4. A window will appear with the XLSTAT icon. Double-click this icon to start the installation.

5. In the installation window that appears, click Continue.

6. Click Install.

7. When prompted, enter your administrator password and confirm.

8. Once the installation is complete, move the XLSTAT.dmg file to the Trash.

Launch XLSTAT for the first time

During the first launch, XLSTAT will configure itself automatically. This process may take up to one minute. It is normal for Excel windows to open and close during this time.

Add XLSTAT to the Dock (optional)

To quickly access XLSTAT:

1. Open the Applications folder.
2. Locate the XLSTAT icon.
3. Drag the icon to your Dock.
