Assignment Types Form A form assignment is an online document a user will complete directly in ELC, such as a Midterm or Final Evaluation. Forms can have signatures and be routed to one or more users for completion. Offline An offline assignment is something that is completed outside of Tevera. This could be a meeting held with an advisor, or a quiz that is completed in your Learning Management System. The student can submit this assignment after they've completed the task outside of ELC. Report A report assignment is most commonly used to allow students to get their hours signed off by their site supervisor and/or faculty. You can add in as many report assignments as you will need throughout the term whether you have students get their hours signed weekly, monthly, or at any other cadence. Track A track assignment is what assigns a specific time track to students. You will select this option if the course requires that the student record their placement hours using one of the time tracks that have been built in ELC. Track assignments often get confused with report assignments. You will only need one track assignment compared to the potentially multiple report assignments in each class. You can think of the track assignment as the student’s running log of time, and the report assignments as taking snapshots of the students logged hours at various points in time. Upload An upload assignment is used when the student needs to upload a PDF, Word, or other document from their computer's hard drive, like their resume or liability insurance. Video If your program has Video Assessment, video assignments will be available. Video assignments allow students to upload videos as well as allows students, supervisors, and faculty to review and comment on uploaded videos.
