Time Track Customization Overview

Experiential Learning Cloud's time tracks are a dynamic tool for collecting students' time spent and activities performed while in their field experiences. There are a few different elements of time tracks that can be customized:

Tracks

- A track is a list of activities that students will use to categorize their time spent in their field experience. The activities on a track are any specific activities or sub-categories into which students' time entries are organized. The example below shows a view of a track and activities:

Requirements

- Requirements allow students, site supervisors, and faculty to visualize how students are progressing toward short-term and long-term benchmarks. Options for requirements include: minimums and maximums, ratios, overall activity sum, overall activity maximum, and overall minimum sessions. Along with requirements you can also include track violations, which notify students if they haven't met a specific track requirement. The example below shows possible requirements you could include on a track:
Flavors
- Flavors are additional characteristics related to a time entry. Flavors consist of a list of options within a given category. For example, flavors are commonly used for modality, setting, or grade level.

Experiences

- Experiences allow students to tie a group of attributes to each time entry. Experiences are commonly used to track client demographic data for individual and groups of clients.

Assessments

- Assessments allow students to track assessments performed with clients to enrich their time reporting insights. This is commonly used with APPIC programs.
