Overview

Welcome to your new Site Management workspace.

Here you will be able to view and manage your site(s). You can find this new workspace by clicking the Manage button on your site's tile.

Side Panel and Details

Here you can view the site's contact information and the primary contact person for the site. Click on the View Profile button to view the site profile to see an overview of the site details and attributes. The Details tab includes general site details such as the address, phone number, and website of the site.

Attributes

The Attributes tab houses the key attributes related to your site, such as the site's description, services offered, populations served, required application materials, clearance requirements, and special considerations.

Site Staff

The Site Staff tab lets you view the staff associated with your site in Experiential Learning Cloud. These should all be individuals who are either employed by your site or who provide supervision at your site. Use the filters at the top to narrow your search.

Supervisees

The supervisees tab will show you a table with all the currently placed (active) students at the selected site. Use the filters at the top of the table to see previously placed students and future students. You can also see who is supervising the student at the site under the supervisor column. Export this table to a spreadsheet using the export icon in the upper right.

Documents

The documents tab is where all documentation about the selected site is available. You can view or edit site documentation here, including a site profile.

Openings

Openings are the number of students that will be accepted for placement for a given time period. Openings can be tracked at the site level or at the supervisor level. This is determined by the institution. Openings can be further categorized by the classification of the student, or the program they are in. For example, Site A accepts 5 generalist students and 10 advanced students each year from the Counseling program. Inputting the number of openings a site has will help students determine where to apply for placement. In the Openings tab, you can view and update the number of openings currently available at your placement site, whether at the site level or for each supervisor. NOTE: Not all universities choose to track the number of openings at each site, so you may find that this feature is disabled in your Experiential Learning Cloud instance.

In the Site tile in the Openings tab, you will find the Manage Openings button if the university has Site Openings or Supervisor Openings enabled. When selected, a window containing the current openings will appear.

NOTE: Openings can only be tracked one way or the other, at the site level or at the supervisor level. This will be dependent upon which option the program you are working with selected.

Site Openings

When Site Openings are enabled you can enter the maximum number of openings available per type of placement for the site as a whole. You can also include any additional comments about the openings available if needed.

The program may decide to enable "Openings Confirmed" status. When this is enabled you must select the checkbox stating "I confirm these openings are accurate" in order for the openings to count toward the total available openings for student placements.

Supervisor Openings

When Supervisor Openings are enabled you can enter the maximum number of openings available per type of placement for each supervisor at your site, including any additional comments or specifics about working with this supervisor in the Position Details.

The program may decide to enable "Openings Confirmed" status. When this is enabled you must select the checkbox stating "I confirm these openings are accurate" in order for the openings to count toward the total available openings for student placements.
