Terms TermDefinitionNavigational TermsEnvironmentExperiential Learning Cloud is divided up into different environments. Each environment is specially designed for the completion of certain tasks and the storage of key information. Our how-to articles will often begin by identifying the environment where the task is performed. The environments that each user will see in their Experiential Learning Cloud accounts are determined by their role. Example: (environments available to program administrators) Workspace A workspace is a page within an environment which is designed around the completion of a specific task or set of tasks. Workspaces can be accessed via the sidebar in each environment, or by clicking tabs on the home page. Example: (workspaces in the Supervision environment) TableExperiential Learning Cloud is organized into tables, designed to store information related to a key area, such as the Users table, the Groups table, the Sites table, and the Documents table. RecordRecords are found within tables. A record is an individual instance of the data type housed in that table. For example: a group within the groups table, or a user within the users table would be considered a record. Add ButtonThe add button is found in all tables and workspaces in Experiential Learning Cloud. It is found on the far right side of the screen and can be used to add new records. Site PlacementSiteA site is the location in which students are placed for their field experience. When students log time in Experiential Learning Cloud, they will always need to do so within the context of a site.
