Customising Relationship Appearance in SharpCloud

Overview

Customising how relationships appear helps users better understand how items are connected and the nature of those connections.

To enable this, relationship attributes must be created with labels that define colours or thickness values. For example:

• Strength: strong, moderate, weak (with thickness values)
• Risk: high, medium, low (with associated colours)

Visualising Relationship Colours and Thickness

To customise appearance:

• Open View Setup
• Navigate to the Relationships tab
  •
• Use:
  • Colour By to assign colours based on a relationship attribute
  • Thickness By to vary line thickness based on an attribute

These settings are reflected across the view and are also maintained in radial view.

Displaying Relationship Comments and Attribute Values

You can display additional information directly on relationships:

• Enable the Advanced toggle in the Relationships tab
  •
• Select the attribute or comment to display

Display options include:

• Radial View only
  •
• In-Context and Radial View
  •
• In-Context, Radial View, and Main View
  •

This allows relationship details to be visible in different contexts, improving clarity and analysis.
