Branding Your Story in SharpCloud

Overview

SharpCloud provides multiple ways to apply your organization’s branding, including logos, imagery, and color schemes, ensuring your stories align with your corporate identity. You can also create Sample stories to standardize design and enable others to start from a branded template.

Ways to Brand Your Stories

   1. Add your logo or a representative image to your story.

      1. This image appears on the dashboard and in the application toolbar when the story is open.

      2. To set this, go to Settings > Story Setup.

2. Background Images for Views
Apply background images to individual views to reinforce branding and visual impact.

   1. This is useful for incorporating corporate imagery or themes.
To set this, use the View Options button on the toolbar.

3. Item and Category Images
Assign images to individual items or entire categories.

   1. These images appear in the item title panel.

      1. To set this, open the Item Edit Properties panel using the pencil icon on the toolbar.

4. Category Colors
Define colors for each category using HEX codes to ensure consistent visual identity across your story.

   1. To set this, go to Settings > Story Setup > Categories.

Saving and Using Sample Stories

Any story can be marked as a Sample. Sample stories can be reused by team members as templates when creating new stories, helping maintain consistent branding and structure. See also Creating a Story Sample.

Connected Stories and Templates

Connected Stories support the use of Template stories, which allow you to standardize branding across multiple stories.

Template stories automatically pass down colors, images, and default settings to all connected stories. Changes made to the template are reflected across all connected stories.

This “change once, update everywhere” capability ensures consistent brand application, efficient updates, and reduced manual effort.
