Licensing Risk Reporter

Overview

Predict! Risk Reporter requires two levels of licensing before report templates can be created or run:

• A system-wide server licence activated on the Risk Controller server
• Individual user licences assigned per user in the User List

Note: A valid server licence must be in place first. Without it, no users can access Risk Reporter functionality regardless of their user-level setting.

Verify the Server Licence

1. Log in to Predict! Risk Controller as an Administrator.
2. Select the Cog icon in the menu bar to open the Admin Portal.
3. Navigate to the Licences section.
4. Under System-Wide Licences, confirm Predict! Risk Reporter shows Yes.
5. If absent, contact Risk Decisions at support@riskdecisions.com to obtain a licence key.

Assign a User Licence

1. In the Admin Portal, navigate to User Management > User List.
2. Select the user to update.
3. On the User Profile, locate the Predict! Risk Reporter field.
4. Set the value to Designer or None (see licence types below).
5. Save the changes.

Licence Type	Access Granted
Designer	Permission to create, manage, upload, and share custom report templates. Allows connection to the Risk Reporter datasource from Jaspersoft Studio.
None	Blocks connection to Risk Reporter. Prevents previewing, uploading, or publishing custom report templates.

Troubleshooting

• Predict! Risk Reporter field does not appear on the User Profile:
  • The server-level licence may not be active. Verify the System-Wide Licences section in the Admin Portal.
• User cannot connect from Jaspersoft Studio despite holding a Designer licence:
  • Confirm the server URL and port are correctly set in the rdql.properties file. Refer to the configuration article.
