Create tags to easily filter and organize data anywhere in Experiential Learning Cloud.

Tags allow you to create your program's custom characteristics for identifying and finding key data in Experiential Learning Cloud.  

How to Create a New Tag 

Watch the video and/or read the step by step instructions below for details.

1. Go to your Program Setup | Customization environment.
2. Select the Tags tab on the left.
3. To create a new tag, click on the plus icon on the upper right of the table. 
4. The new tag will then appear.
   • You will need to give it a name and select a color for the tag in order for it to save. 
5. Select the Program(s) that will use this tag. 
6. Once you have named the tag and assigned a color, you can select select a Tag Type.
   • You may select multiple tag types if a tag applies to multiple different records in Experiential Learning Cloud.
   • You can search by tag once the tag type is defined. 
   • Tag type options include: 
     • Communications: Tag sticky notes and Comms Hub messages. 
       • Search the Comms Hub to find communications that have been tagged. 
     • Site Documents: Tag site documents with custom tags.
       • Search the documents workspace to find documents that have been tagged. 
     • Site Placements: Tag students' site placements with site placement tags.
       • Search the Placement Information table to find placements that have been tagged. 
     • Sites: Tag sites with site tags.
       • Search the sites table to find sites that have been tagged. 
     • Timesheets: Allow students to tag timesheets with tags. 
     • User Documents: Tag user documents with with custom tags.
       • Search the documents workspace to find documents that have been tagged. 
     • Video Comments: Video comment tags let program administrators define key criteria for reviewers to watch for in student videos.
       • Tags help commenters identify and flag specific behaviors or standards when they appear.
7. The tag will now appear to users in the specified tables/workspaces
