My tornado graph doesn't show a particular input, even though I can see from the formulas that it is a precedent of this output. Why?

Answer:

There are several possible reasons:

1. The input may be less significant than others.
   1. Tornado graphs can only display a limited number of inputs, so they show only those with the greatest effect or correlation to the output.
2. The input may not be collected.
   1. In Simulation Settings » Sampling, if Collect Distribution Samples is set to Inputs Marked with Collect,
      1. only inputs marked in the Model Window or with a RiskCollect function can appear in tornado graphs.
3. The input may be excluded by a RiskMakeInput function.
   1. When a formula is wrapped in RiskMakeInput, tornado charts exclude that input, all cells referenced in that formula, and all of their precedents.
