Background

Be assured that you're completing all required paperwork for each field experience level, with placement applications and paperwork organized by classification.

How do classifications work?

Classifications Do:	Classifications Don't:
Help you determine which process you should be using in Site Placement Help administrators determine how to grant access for students to site placement processes Limit access to the appropriate placement processes Allow you to apply to sites you are actively placed at (ex: applying to practicum site for internship)	Affect timesheets- they do not interfere or limit you adding time in any way Become automatically applied to a student in Experiential Learning Cloud- you will be responsible for knowing which classification actively applies to you

Where do you see classifications?

Classifications appear in the Site Placement workspace at the top left next to My Sites.

• Depending on if you have access to a site process (the set of paperwork for the program), the classifications may be active
  • Example: If you only have access to a process for "Practicum", the Practicum classification tab will be the only active tab.
  • Click on the Classification tab to begin the placement process.
