Sharing PrecisionTree Files with Colleagues Without the Software

If a colleague opens an Excel file with PrecisionTree data without PrecisionTree installed, all tree numbers appear as #NAME errors. PrecisionTree does not support swapping out functions like @RISK.

Options to Share

1. Capture the tree as an image

   • You can copy all or part of the tree and paste it into Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, or any program that accepts images.

2. Use BigPicture (release 7.0+)

   • Click View in BigPicture in PrecisionTree.

   • BigPicture loads a copy of the tree.

   • Expand or collapse branches as needed; turn Single Expand off for full control.

   • The tree becomes self-contained in Excel, so your colleague can view it without PrecisionTree.

   • If they have BigPicture but not PrecisionTree, they can still collapse/expand branches.
