Overview 

The Make Changes button allows you to resubmit tasks, or to change them from complete back to in progress, so you can make updates and resubmit as needed. In some cases (described below) you will need to ask permission to make changes to an assignment, and in other cases, you can make changes on their own.

How to Make Changes on Site Placement Tasks

In the Site Placement workspace, the "Make Changes" button will appear as an option if you are the author of the document and you have submitted the task for review or signature.

If the Assignment is still In Progress: 

If no other users have interacted with the assignment: 

1. Click Make Changes.
2. The status on the assignment will change to "In Progress".
3. You will be allowed to modify the assignment and resubmit it when you are ready.

If other users have reviewed, signed or approved the task: 

1. Click Make Changes.
2. Click "Yes" on the following warning message:           
3. Complete the "Request re-submission" form in which you will select the recipient of the request (usually the faculty that approved the task previously) and enter the reason you are making the request.         
4. If the faculty member approves the request, you will be notified. The task will return to a status of "In Progress" and any signatures on the assignment will be removed so you can make changes and resubmit.

Standard Term Definitions 

Site: The location in which students are placed for their field experience. 

Site Supervisor: The professional who oversees the student's field experience at their external field site. 

Task Supervisor: An individual who provides on-site supervision for the student field experience, but not as the primary supervisor.
