Question:

Does @RISK support subprojects as separate MPP files?

Answer:

Yes. You can use subprojects as linked projects within a main MPP file. Simply import the main MPP file into @RISK—Project will automatically recognize the subprojects.

During simulation, the subprojects do not need to be open.

Example:
A simple set of files is attached to this article. Download all five files to the same folder, launch @RISK, and open KB1647_MasterProject.xlsx. Most durations already contain @RISK distributions, and the finish dates for the three main phases are set up as outputs. You can also add additional outputs as needed.
