Overview 

Once you’ve uploaded a video to a video assignment, you may need to submit your video for comments by peers, faculty, or supervisors. Additionally, you may also be asked to review and comment on your peers' videos. This article will walk through how to both submit a video for peer comments and comment on a peer’s video yourself.

How To Submit a Video for Peer Comments 

1. First, you will need to upload and submit your video assignment. You can review this information in the article How To: Upload and Submit a Video.

2. Once your video has been submitted and marked complete you will then be able to submit it for peer comments.

3. Click on the assignment indicating it is for peer comments and then click Start.

4. Once you start the assignment you can open it and see the video you uploaded.

5. You will then click on Submit, choose a peer from the drop-down list to send the video to, and click Submit again to submit the video for comments.

How to Comment on a Peer’s Video 

1. You will receive the task to comment on your peer’s video through the Communications Hub. Click on the Communication’s Hub and then click on the task sent by your classmate.

2. The task will indicate who the video was sent by and will include the video that you can review and comment on.

3. Click on the attached video and begin reviewing and commenting. Your comments will be timestamped based on where you are currently at in the video.

4. Once you have finished adding comments you will click on Submit.

 

Viewing Peer Comments 

Once your classmate has submitted their comments you will be able to view these by opening the completed assignment.
