Overview

Videos and attached comments uploaded to Experiential Learning Cloud will be deleted in accordance with a pre-determined timeout period.

You will not be able to extend the date to keep the video past pre-determined timeout period.

To learn more about your program's pre-determined timeout period contact your program administrators.

What Happens When a Video is Deleted

Automatic Deletion:
Two weeks before a video is set to expire, you will receive a notification via the Communications Hub alerting you that your video will be deleted.

A deleted video in a completed assignment will not change the status of the assignment. The assignment will still appear as “Completed.”

Manual Deletion:
Users with the Video Admin role have the ability to delete videos prior to the end of the pre-determined timeout period.

• If this occurs, you will receive a notification via the Communications Hub alerting you that your video assignment has been deleted and you will need to start the assignment over.
• A manually deleted video in a completed assignment will change the status of the assignment. The assignment will no longer appear as “Completed” and will return to “Not Started.”
