Overview

This article instructs how to add your program documentation into your Other Documents section. Documents created this way are what we call "Ad-Hoc" documents and will be stored in your Assignments environment under the Other Documents section.

Create a Document outside of an Assignment

From your homepage, click on the Assignments tab and go to the Other Documents tab.
Click the plus icon in the upper right corner of the table.
Select Start a Form.
A dropdown menu with all available forms will then appear. Select the form you want to add from the drop down.
- This dropdown may include forms your university uses to confirm your information for your program course of study, progress toward graduation, details regarding your practicum or internship, etc.
Click Start.
The information tab of the document will load. Select who the record/form is about and what program they are associated with. For the majority of these forms, you will select [Myself] for who the form is about.
- You need to make selections for all required fields in order for the form to load. All required fields are indicated by a red text box.
As soon as all required fields are entered, the document will open.
Fill out the form as completely as possible.
Sign the document if needed.
- Your form will be visible to your supervisors once you have created it.
- If you want, you can send them a message letting them know you have completed it.
  
  IMPORTANT: Any form or document created this way will not be tied to any assignment or its status.
