@RISK: Filtering Tasks in Projects

To filter tasks in a project, set your filter in MS Project, then update (not sync) the filter in @RISK. In MSProject, Filter settings are on the View tab of the ribbon. You can use a built-in filter, a filter you created and saved previously, or a new filter. If you created a new filter that you may want to reuse, save your project at this point. In Excel, in the @RISK ribbon, click Project » Project Link » Update Project Filters. Note: Filtered-out rows still exist in the Excel and Project files, and all computations, including simulations, continue to include them. Selecting a range also selects hidden tasks. This is standard Excel behavior, not specific to @RISK. If you want to apply a similar variation to a group of tasks, you can use a parameter entry table or risk categories.
