Cause:

This is most likely due to other software on the computer.

Solutions:

If you have a beta version of Google Desktop:
1. download and install a later version of it.
If you are running a PDFMaker or Norton Antivirus
1. Please see You receive a 'Compile error in hidden module' error message when you start Word or Excel in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
