@Risk/DTS Error: "Automation error: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed."

Cause:

Bitdefender Total Security has been seen to cause this error.

Solution:

If you turn off Advanced Threat Defense, it should address the issue.

To move forward with running the software and Advanced Threat Defense, check the Bitdefender log, find the @Risk/DTS file(s) that triggered the error and whitelist them.
