Problem

After performing a search in a database and exporting the bibliographic information to RIS or EndNote Tagged format, instead of offering to open the file directly in Citavi, the Chrome Browser downloads the file to the Downloads folder.

Solution

Perform a search in a database that offers RIS or EndNote Tagged as an export format.
Download the text file. The downloaded file is displayed in the upper right corner of your browser. Right-click on the file name.
In the shortcut menu, click Always open files of this type.
