Overview  

Sub-Programs are a useful way to organize your users in Experiential Learning Cloud. Sub-Programs allow you to categorize users at another level, secondary to their program association. 

What Sub-Programs to Include in Your Database  

Sub-Programs can be used to separate students by a variety of distinguishing characteristics. This could include sub-programs for:  

• the different tracks or concentrations offered by your program  
• program status such as full-time or part-time  
• program delivery such as on campus or online  
• or any other distinguishing characteristics that your program wants or needs to track, secondary to association to an overarching program.  

How Sub-Programs Work in Your Database  

Sub-Programs are an organizational feature that allow you to group key elements in your Experiential Learning Cloud database together under a common umbrella, secondary to their program association. Below are a few examples of how you can use sub-programs to organize your data in Experiential Learning Cloud.

How to Create Sub-Programs

Follow the steps below to create sub-programs associated with programs in your database.

1. First, go to the Program Setup | Admin environment. 
2. Then, click on the Programs workspace. 
3. Expand the program that you would like to create Sub-Programs for. 
4. Select the Details tab. 
5. Click on the Add (+) button to add one or more Sub-Programs for that Program. 
6. Repeat the steps for any additional Programs that you wish to have Sub-Programs for in your database.
