Adding an Item with a Form

Overview

Forms in SharpCloud provide a simple way to create or update items without navigating the full interface. They guide users through structured inputs to ensure consistent data entry.

Accessing Available Forms

You can access forms in several ways:

• From the SharpCloud Dashboard, where forms appear alongside story images

  •

• Within a story via the Forms tab (requires Collaborate/Create permissions)

• Embedded in a widget within a story (accessible to Read-only users)

• Via a direct URL or QR code shared by the story owner

Completing and Submitting a Form

Using a form is straightforward:

• Open the form

• Follow the prompts and enter your responses

• Click Submit

This will either create a new item or update an existing one in the story.

Permissions

• You must have Collaborate permissions (and an active subscription) to create new items via forms

• Some forms may allow Read-only or Anonymous submissions, depending on settings defined by the story owner
