How to Save and Export a Model

 

Overview

After arranging a PRV model to a preferred layout, the layout can be saved so it can be reused the next time a model is generated from the same folder or risk list. The model can also be exported as a report in various output formats.

 

Save a Model Layout

1. Arrange the model layout as required using the move and zoom tools.
2. Select Save in the top-right of the toolbar.
3. The layout is saved against the folder or risk list from which the model was generated.

 

To restore a saved layout in future:

1. Navigate to the same folder or risk list.
2. Open the Risk Visualiser options and tick Use last saved layout for this set of risks.
3. Click Generate — the model will open with the previously saved layout applied.

 

Note: Only one layout can be saved per folder or risk list at a time. Saving a new layout will overwrite the previous one.

Note: It is recommended to save the model frequently, particularly when working with large models. Changes to the risk list — such as new or retired risks, or filter changes — may require layout adjustments after regenerating.

 

Export a Model as a Report

1. From within the interactive model, open the reports menu at the top-left of the toolbar.
2. Select Risk Visualiser report.
3. In the options dialog, enter a subtitle for the report. (optional)
4. Select the desired report format from the Report format dropdown (e.g. PDF).
5. Click Export.
6. The report is generated and a notification will appear when it is ready to download. Open the notification to download the file.

Note: The report is generated, notified, and downloaded in the same way as standard Predict! Risk Controller reports. Refer to the Predict! Guide to Reports for more information.

 

Best Practices

• Use Zoom to fit before exporting to ensure the full model is visible in the report output.
• Save the layout before exporting, so any manual adjustments are preserved for future use.
• Re-save the layout after making changes to the risk list to keep the saved version current.=
