"Make Changes" Button in Assignments
 

When completing documents in the assignments environment, they will need to be submitted in order for them to be signed by all parties and then marked completed. We can help you with completing documents.

Before going to Step 1, is the class still in session?    

• If yes:
  • Has anyone reviewed, signed or approved the assignment?
    • If yes, go to Step 1a
    • If no, go to Step 1b
• If no:
  • For Offline Assignments, the student can no longer use the Make Changes feature.
  • For all other assignment types, the student will complete the "Request re-submission" process.

Step 1a

1. Click "Make Changes".
2. Click "Yes" on the following warning message:  
   • Complete the "Request re-submission" form (below) in which they select the recipient of the request (usually the faculty that supervises the class) and enter the reason they are making the request.    
3. If the faculty member approves the request, the student will be notified, the assignment will return to a status of "In Process", and any signatures on the assignment will be removed so the student can make changes and resubmit.

Step 1b

1. Click "Make Changes".
2. The status on the assignment will change to "In Progress".
3. And the student will be allowed to modify the assignment and resubmit it when they are re
