See the demo and text below for details on the Guided Placement Process in Experiential Learning Cloud

The Process:

1. Pre-Application Tasks

All Students Complete the Following Pre-Application Tasks

Field Application (SOCIAL WORK-1000) (click to view)

Upload Resume

2. Site Preferences

Students can choose from the list of agencies approved for their program in the agency list. Your program can customize the minimum and maximum number of preferences students can submit. Once the preference lists are submitted, placement coordinators can review and approve certain preferences. Students can only apply to agencies that are approved by a field coordinator from their preference list.

3. Site Step

When Students Apply to an Approved Placement Agency

Confirm chosen agency (Offline task)

4. Field Instructor Step

5. Final Review

Once all required tasks are completed, members of a reviewer group will be notified that the placement is ready for their review. At this point, they can review and approve the student’s placement information. If the student has suggested a new supervisor, the reviewer will also be asked to approve them for the program.

Further optimize this process with some of our proven forms for social work programs:

• Add the Placement Process Tracking Sheet (Completed by Student) to the pre-application step to allow students to provide information about their interviews at potential placement sites
• Add the Placement Process Tracking Sheet (Placement Coordinator Use Only) to the pre-application step if you'd prefer to track this information yourself
• Add the Agency Onboarding Checklist to the Site Step to give students a heads-up about the tasks they will need to complete as a part of their onboarding at their agency
