Citavi: Your system administrator blocked the account login

Citavi login not working? Learn why the login form doesn’t appear and how admins can enable Citavi Account access via a registry setting.

Title

Answer

When clicking on the login symbol, the login form is not shown.

Your system administrator installed Citavi so that it's not possible to log in to Citavi Account.

Ask your system administrator if the setting can be changed in the Windows Registry:

On a 64-bit computer:
HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Swiss Academic Software\Citavi 7\AdminSettings
On a 32-bit computer:
HKLM\Software\Swiss Academic Software\Citavi 7\AdminSettings

The value for DisableCitaviAccount needs to be changed from " true " ( 1 ) to " false " ( 0 ).
