Problem

After inserting a quotation in Citavi, the text of the quotation is not in the expected font or size. You expected it to use the style at the insertion point, but instead, it uses the formatting from Citavi. Or you expected it to use the formatting specified in the Options in Citavi, but instead the style at the insertion point was used.

Cause

The difference is whether the quotation used the default formatting in Citavi or not. If the quotation does not differ from the default, then Citavi uses the style at the insertion point. If the quotation has formatting that differs from the default, then Citavi inserts with that formatting.

Some examples

Citavi default: Segoe UI 9pt
Quote: Segoe UI 9pt
Style at insertion point: Times New Roman 12pt
Citavi inserts as: Times New Roman 12pt

Citavi default: Segoe UI 9pt
Quote: Segoe UI 10pt
Style at insertion point: Times New Roman 12pt
Citavi inserts as: Times New Roman 10pt

Citavi default: Segoe UI 9pt
Quote: Garamond 9pt
Style at insertion point: Times New Roman 12pt
Citavi inserts as: Garamond 12pt

Citavi default: Segoe UI 9pt
Quote: Garamond 14pt
Style at insertion point: Times New Roman 12pt
Citavi inserts as: Garamond 14pt
