Overview 

Several steps need to be completed after a student completes their site application process before they can start tracking and reporting time at their new site. Below will outline those steps. 

Students 

Once you have completed all of your site placement paperwork, there is good news- you're done! If you have completed all the tasks that are required, all you have to do is wait for the paperwork to be given one final approval by your program administrator or site placement coordinator. Once this is done, your site's status will change from Decision Pending to Approved and you will receive a notification in your communications hub. 

Site Supervisors 

Once your supervisee has completed all of their paperwork for placement, they will still need to be approved by the program administrator or placement coordinator. Once approval is given, if you are a new supervisor to Experiential Learning Cloud, you will receive a registration invitation. Click the link in the invite to register your Experiential Learning Cloud account, and you are done! If you do not register your Experiential Learning Cloud account, your supervisee cannot send your time reports to sign off on. Below is what a registration invite looks like. 

Program Administrators/Placement Coordinators 

You have the task of giving the final review of the student's paperwork and approving the site and site supervisor for both the student, and possibly the rest of your program (if the site and/or supervisor is new). 

 

You can find students who are waiting for your final approval using the Waiting on Me status filter on your site process grid. Once you review and approve the students application, 2 things will happen:
