At the end of a completed placement process, the following are confirmed:

Placement school
Site date range
Cooperating teacher
Teacher date range

Student-Driven Placement Process

This process is best for programs that empower their students to independently apply to placement schools. Students can use this process to inform the program of their placement information but the ultimate approval is left up to the placement coordinators.

Bonus feature: This process allows students to suggest new schools and cooperating teachers. If approved, these schools and cooperating teachers will be added to your program's database, providing more potential connections for future students!

Guided Placement Process

This process is best for programs that have a finite list of pre-approved schools. Students initiate the process by providing their pre-application paperwork and list of preferences. Placement coordinators can approve the schools that are the best fit for their students and students can apply to work with those schools.

Assigned Site Placement Process

This process is best for programs that assign schools and cooperating teachers to their students. The students will initiate the process by completing pre-application paperwork, but the placement coordinator assigns the school and cooperating teacher to them. From there, students will complete some basic paperwork regarding their placement.
