Applies to: PrecisionTree 7.x and Up

When I run a Policy Suggestion, the Optimal Tree stops at reference nodes, and the Decision Table only includes decisions to the left of them. Why?

Answer
This is a current limitation: Policy Suggestion does not follow reference nodes. Any decision nodes linked beyond a reference node are ignored.

Workaround
To get a complete Policy Suggestion:

1. Save your workbook under a new name to avoid overwriting the original.

2. Right-click the linked-to node and choose Copy Subtree.

3. Replace the reference node with the copied subtree.
Now Policy Suggestion will include all decision nodes.
