How to Add Students to Groups

1. Go to the Program Management | Staff & Students environment
2. Click the Groups tab
3. Click the (+) in the upper right corner to create a group. More detail here. 
4. Go to the Users tab to add students to the class 
5. Click the (+) to add students
6. Select the name of the student or students you would like to add to the group 
7. Click Add 

 

Notes: 

• You can only add students to a class once their accounts have been created in Experiential Learning Cloud
• Students appear in a class only during its start/end dates and their placement date in that class.
• Students can also be added to groups in bulk.

Move Students from One Class to Another

Purpose

Move students, along with all of their completed and in-progress assignments, from one section of a class to another for easy mid-term maintenance as necessary.

 

Steps

1. Go to the Groups table in the Program Management | Staff & Students environment. 
2. Open the class that the student is being moved to 
3. Click the Users tab 
4. Click the (+) icon to add the student to this class
5. Click the button which says Move Assignments from [Class]
   • This button will only show if: 
     • The student has started assignments in the class they are being moved from
     • Both the class the student is being moved from and the class they are being moved to were copied from the same class template
6. Open the class that the student is being moved from
7. Go to the Users tab 
8. Click the name of the student who was moved to the new class
9. Select today's date as the end date for the student's placement in this class
