Error:

Not enough system resources to display completely.

Cause:

There are a couple of causes for this error:

1. The model is too large or too complex
2. The model has features that require more system resources than the computer can provide.

Solutions:

1. Close all other applications before opening the model.  
   • If this helps, you can reopen low resource apps until the problem returns.
2. If you have other workbooks open, close them before opening the one containing the impacted model.
3. If possible, simplify the model or eliminate redundant calculations. Streamlining the structure can improve performance and reduce the likelihood of errors.

4. If you are running a large number of iterations, consider reducing the count. You can also use @RISK’s convergence monitoring to determine whether additional iterations are actually necessary.

5. If Color Cells are enabled, try turning them off before opening the model, as they can consume significant system resources depending on the model’s size.

6. If you are currently collecting all distribution samples (Simulation Settings → Sampling tab), change the setting to None or Distributions Marked with Collect to reduce overhead.
