Why do VBA changes disappear when Multiple CPU is enabled in @RISK?

When Multiple CPU is enabled, @RISK runs parallel simulations using multiple Excel instances. Only the master Excel instance is saved at the end of the simulation. Any VBA code that changes the workbook in worker instances is discarded when those instances close.

How to ensure VBA results persist

• Disable Multiple CPU if the simulation size allows, so all VBA changes occur in a single workbook.

• Refactor the macro into a User-Defined Function (UDF) that returns a value and call it from a worksheet formula. You can then capture results using @RISK outputs or a Simulation Data report.
