Overview

Find the best site/agency to meet your field experience goals and advance your career by searching through your program's pre-approved sites, reading through site profile forms, and filtering by site characteristics or tags of interest to you.

NOTE: Some programs choose to disable the "Browse Sites" feature.

Where to Browse Sites/Agencies

If your program has enabled browsing sites, you can do so at any time via the "My Sites/Agencies" tab in your site placements workspace.

1. Go to the Site Placements workspace
2. Click the My Sites/Agencies tab at the top of the screen
3. Click Browse all program sites/agencies

You may also be able to browse within a placement process, if enabled by your program.

1. Go to the Site Placements workspace.
2. Click the Classification tab that best describes your field experience level, at the top of the screen (e.g. "Internship" or "Generalist").
3. Complete Step (1) Pre-application Tasks (if applicable)
4. Move on to Step (2)
   • Depending on your placement process workflow, step 2 could be Select Site/Agency or Site Preference List.
   • If your program assigns your placement site, you will see a message in the green box at the center of the screen stating that a site is being assigned to you. In this case, you cannot browse sites as a part of the placement process.
5. If you are able to select a site or create a preference list, you will see a list of sites at this point in the process.

How to Browse Sites/Agencies

Once you've found the site list in your "My Sites/Agencies" tab or within your placement process, you can choose List View to view all sites in a list or Map View to view all sites on an interactive map.

1. Use filters to narrow down your search.
   • Filters include:
     • Miles From a Given Zip Code
     • Favorites: Filtering by favorites allows you to quickly pull up sites you've starred in the past
     • Custom Filters: Your program may have additional, custom filters set up for you
     • More Filters:
       • The more filters menu contains many additional fields by which you can filter the table. Select any that may be helpful in narrowing your search.
       • Tags: If your program has tagged sites with certain characteristics, you will be able to filter by those tags
         • When using multiple tags, you can choose the Any or All Tags with the toggle
           • All: Will filter the site list to show sites that have EVERY tag chosen in the tags filter
           • Any: Will filter the site list to show sites that have at least one of the tags chosen in the tags filter.
2. When you expand a site record in the list view, you will see:
   • Site Contact Details: View the site's address, phone number, and website (if they are stored in Experiential Learning Cloud)
   • Site Representative Contact Details: View the name and contact information for the point of contact at the site
     • Note: Some programs choose not to share this information in this space.
   • Site Documents: View documents with more information about the site. Click the underlined document title to view it.
   • View Full Profile: Click this option to view more information about the site, including a site description, services offered, populations served, setting, clearance requirements, required application materials, special considerations, work/shift times, and more.
3. When you click a site's pin in the Map view, the site's profile will open.
4. Favorite any sites which interest you so that you can find them more easily next time you visit the site list.

NOTE: Each program has its own processes for site application. Be sure to consult with a placement coordinator or member of your program's field team before reaching out to any placement sites.
