"The internal error message is: Unknown"

Problem

When attempting to open a local project from a network drive, you receive the error message

An error occurred while accessing the project file. The internal error message is: Unknown.

Cause

The network drive the project is saved on does not have enough storage space.

Solution

Either delete files you no longer need from the drive to free up more space or move the project folder to another drive with more space.
