Denying a Student's Site Choice or Placement in Experiential Learning Cloud 

 

Occasionally, you may have to deny a student's site choice or placement.

1. Request Changes when reviewing the application form

   • This will allow the student to update their site choices and re-sign the form.

   • It will also allow you to leave a note to the student on what needs to be changed. 

     • Tell the student why their site choice was denied and what they need to change in the form to receive approval.

     • Remind the student to reply to the note when they have made the change so you know to review the form again.

2. Send the note to the student.

Important: 

Neither you nor the student will receive automatic notifications when a signature is removed or re-signed on a site placement form.

Make sure you and the student communicate via a note on the document until the student informs you that the form has been updated and re-signed. The automatic updates for the site placement process will resume with your signature on the document. 

If you want to mark the site as Not Approved for all of your students, students must complete all application paperwork first.
