NVivo Crashes When Trying to Merge Projects

 

Background

NVivo needs to be able to access the drives associated with your NVivo project file.  If it can't access the drive, it will crash.

 

Solution

Move the project files to your local hard drive and try the merge again. 

Also be sure to disable any cloud drive synching process that may be enabled while working on your NVivo project files.  This can also cause unexpected behavior.
