Using the Survey Search Feature

# Using the Survey Search Feature

SurveyToGo includes a powerful search feature that allows you to quickly locate specific text throughout your survey design.

You can use the search tool to find text within:

* Question body text
* Answer text
* Start scripts
* End scripts
* Entrance rules
* Jump rules
* Validation rules
* Answer scales
* And many other survey components

In short, the search feature enables you to search for text in almost every part of your survey.

You can access the search tool from the main toolbar. The default search settings cover the most common use cases, although you can modify the available parameters to refine your search if needed.

For example, searching for part of an answer scale's name will return all matching results. Clicking on a result will automatically navigate you to the relevant location within the survey, making it easy to review or update the corresponding item.
