Sonia Release Notes - August 2024 

New Functionality   

• Update note permission view to include Coordinators and Directors 

• The notes grid of Sites, Placement Group, Placement Request, and Placement now have a column for Director and Coordinator. Additionally, the Add/Edit Note dialog allows you to show the note to the Director and Coordinator.  

• Sonia API->Error handling needs to be better when incorrect values entered 

• API errors are now more descriptive for easier troubleshooting. 

Resolved 

• Contact Photo Field on Form causing issues. 

• Contact Photo form fields no longer cause an error when students try to submit the forms. 

• Pip template does not contain placeholder names 

• The university stamp and signatures now appear when using the PIP Template. 

• Times in Reports -> Form reflects UTC time and not time zone chosen by client. 

• The time zone selected by the user is now displayed on reports. 

• Error: Reports > Admin > Log > Log Type 

• You can now select Log Types in the Log report, and the resulting error has been resolved. 

• Check activity text displaying HTML formatting 

• The check activity is now written in text instead of HTML formatting. 

• Incorrect forms showing for supervisors 

• Forms for students with the relevant placement context or with no placement context now display for supervisors, instead of forms with the incorrect placement context. 

• Accessibility: Placement Group List Keyboard Focus is Trapped 

• Keyboard-only users can now navigate to the rest of the pages on the Placement Group screen. 

• Site communication from PG send singular email per Site rather than PR 

• Using the Communication option within a Placement Group will now send one email to a site for all Placement Requests, instead of duplicate emails. 

• Communication placeholders observing legacy database field 

• When using the email placeholder to Sites of [StudentSiteContact-Password] the link is now generating as expected. 

• Standalone installer brings up blank screen with Azure AD SSO 

• Azure AD SSO now works as expected when using Edge. 

• Reports -> Client throws the error after opening the report window 

• Reports now open as expected. 

• Error when supervisor views shared sites and associated placements 

• Site and placement details can now be viewed by coordinators and directors.
