Site Placement coordinators can add placement notes for each student in the Site Placement Grid. These notes are visible within the student dashboard, as well as easily found directly in the Placement Information widget.

How to Add Placement Notes

1. In the Program Management | Supervision environment. Go to Site Placements.
2. Select a Placement Process from the Site Process dropdown menu.
3. Next, change the Status from Waiting on Me to All Statuses.

4. Find the student you want to add a note about and click on the plus button (+) in row titled Placement Notes:

5. A sticky note will appear, and you can begin composing your note.
   1. NOTE: If you add a user in the “To:” field the note will be sent to the user. If the “To:” field is left blank the note will only be saved in that student’s record. To save or send the note, click on the tack icon on the bottom left corner. Keep in mind that these notes aren’t visible to the student, only to staff and faculty who have supervision over that student account.

6. Once you have completed the note, the + sign under that student will now display a note icon. Click on it to read the note. To make the note public, click on the information icon (i) and check the box next to Public note. Notice that the Placement (Experiential Learning Cloud) tag was added automatically.
