Item Shapes

Note: This feature is available in SharpCloud v9.7.0303 and later.

Overview

A useful way to distinguish items and enhance visuals is by assigning different shapes, which can be set at the category, view, or individual item level.

There are 4 shapes available:

• Square (Default)
• Smooth
• Rounded
• Circle

The changes in the item shape will be reflected across the following view types:

• Layer
• Grid
• Timeline
• Compare
• List
• Map

Category Level

At a category level, this will provide items that are a part of that category will conform to that shape.

Changing Item Shapes

To change an items shape, access the Categories Tab in the Story Setup as highlighted below:

View Level

Note: This feature is available in SharpCloud v9.7.0421 and later.

Configuring item shapes can be performed on a view-by-view basis, providing a uniform approach to that individual view.

This setting can be configured in the View Setup under the Item Appearance tab.

Item Level

Note: This feature is available in SharpCloud v9.7.0421 and later.

The most granular shape setting is at the individual item level, which requires configuration in both the Edit Panel and the View Setup.

Once a shape is selected for the individual item:

• The View Setup Shape setting needs to be configured to display Item Shape
• If not, the chosen shape will not be displayed on the individual item.
