NVivo: What is a QDPX file/Why is data missing when I convert a .qdpx to NVivo Windows?

The QDPX file format is the REFI-QDA standard for sharing qualitative data projects across different QDA software. It supports only features common to all platforms, so audio/video, datasets, and PDFs are not included. Using QDPX with NVivo NVivo supports backward compatibility only, so newer NVivo projects can’t be opened in older NVivo versions. When mixed-version teams need to exchange data, QDPX can be used only if the project does not contain audio/video, datasets, or PDFs. If those items are present, all collaborators must use the same NVivo version. Multiple NVivo versions can coexist on one computer if needed. If upgrading to the latest NVivo is an option, licenses and upgrades can be purchased through the MyNVivo (My.Lumivero.com) customer portal after creating and verifying a user profile.
